Abstract: Based on the stochastic optimization method, the effect of education investment and taxation on eco-nomic growth and social welfare was analyzed in a stochastic economic growth model. The optimized economic growth rate and the ratios of capital to wealth and consumption to wealth were worked out through the Bell-man equation when economic equilibrium reached. Furthermore, how taxation and individual education invest-ment affect economic equilibrium growth rate and social welfare was analyzed.
